Studies on the Establishment of Cultural Practices of Allium grayi Regel

Abstract
Field experiments were conducted to find out the effects of herbicides on the growth and yield of Allium grayi REGEL, weed growth and phytotoxicity. In the result compared to weedy check, application of Alra, Buta and Nitfen showed the most effective weed control before wintering, while there was no difference between herbicide application and weedy check after wintering. Application of Alra, Buta, Nitfen and Simane resulted the leaf emergence and growth equivalent to that of hand weeded check with no phytotoxicity, but application of Linuron and Merizin appeared to delay the leaf emergence and inhibit the growth with a slight phytotoxicity. Percent yield decrease by weeds was 10-33%, and higher in the harvest after wintering which showed a lower growth amount than in that before wintering. Comparing the yield per 10 a before and after wintering to hand - weeded check, suitable herbicides were found to be Alra, Nitfen arid Buta,
